What is it all about?

The objective of the Girls in tech mentorship program, Stepping Up, is to build and foster an organic community promoting good mentorship. This will NOT be a typical mentorship program, there will be no match making, instead we will focus on substance to bring you the knowledge & tools to approach mentorship; access to mentors whom they can learn from; and with inspirational stories to pave their journey. That way you leave with value and you can be self-sufficient.

The Stepping Up program was designed and created by Coral Movasseli, Managing Director, Girls in Tech Dublin.

What is micro-mentorship?

Micro-mentorship was coined and developed by Coral Movasseli, our Managing Director. It means that instead of 1:1 mentorship it is a collaborative peer-to-peer mentorship.

Who are the mentors?
The mentors are diverse. Men and women. From different industries and backgrounds. What they all share is a dedication to paying it forward, have knowledge and wisdom to pass on, and are influential in their fields.
Who will be there?
Developers, designers, business backgrounds (HR, Marketing, Sales, Consulting, etc), scientists, students, product developers, entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, educators and the likes.
Do you need to be a techie?
NO! This mentorship will be driven to empower, engage and inspire you. You do not need to be technical nor “in tech” to come and get what you need out of it.
Can men attend?
Yes, we are inclusive and open to everyone. We promote gender equality and bridging the gap in the technology and startup spaces.
Is the venue & event wheelchair accessible?

Yes. We try to keep our attendee group as diverse as possible.
